Size approximately 56 mm tall and 55 mm wide and lug to lug 43 mm…..I believe this to be an Original badge, in very good condition but showing genuine signs of age……. Please study pictures carefully to decide.

Item Description : Original British Army Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders Cap Badge

This is an authentic, period-original White Metal cap badge for the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders. This specific pattern, featuring the “CAMERON” scroll, was introduced circa 1913 and was the standard issue worn throughout World War I and World War II.

Key Features & Condition:

Construction: High-quality die-struck (stamped) metal with a hollow reverse, showing sharp, crisp details.

Material: Authentic White Metal (nickel-copper alloy) with a genuine, uncleaned aged patina on the reverse.

Design: Features St. Andrew with the saltire cross, surrounded by a wreath of thistles and the regimental title scroll.

Attachment: Complete with original twin lugs on the reverse.

Bonus: Includes the original brass cotter pin (split pin) used to secure it to a Glengarry or bonnet.
