Regiment: The King’s Regiment (Liverpool).

Design: Features the Hanoverian White Horse standing upon a torse wreath banner.

Material: Bi-metal (White Metal Horse / Brass Ribbon Scroll).

Fixing Type: Original Rear Long Slider.

Maker Mark: Stamped JR GAUNT on the slider.

Era: Interwar / World War 2 Era (Post-1926 Sealed Pattern).

Height: Approximately 45 mmWidth: Approximately 46 mmCondition:Superb vintage condition with beautiful contrast between the crisp silver-colored white metal horse and the naturally patinated brass title scroll. The embossed block lettering KING’S remains sharp and completely clear. The rear slider is long, fully intact, and proudly displays the genuine JR Gaunt maker stamp. Regimental History: The King’s Regiment (Liverpool) was one of the oldest and most decorated line infantry regiments of the British Army, tracing its history back to 1685. In January 1927, this design featuring the Hanoverian Horse sitting directly above a streamlined KING’S banner scroll was officially sealed to modernize the unit’s insignia. Regimental elements proudly wore this configuration through heavy operational deployments during World War II, notably within the European theater and with the famous Chindits in the Burma campaign.
