Up for sale is an original vintage theatre programme from WWII 1943 WOLVERHAMPTON HIPPODROME THEATRE PROGRAMME – “LADIES OUT OF UNIFORM”
An original, rare World War II era theatrical programme from the Wolverhampton Hippodrome (The General Theatre Corporation Ltd). This authentic piece of wartime entertainment ephemera documents the production run for the week commencing Monday, June 21st, 1943.
Presented by S. H. Newsome (for Newco Productions Ltd.), this historic revue titled “Ladies Out of Uniform” is written, composed, and produced by Gordon Courtney and features a superb lineup of 1940s variety, comedy, and music hall performers.
