Up for sale is an authentic, original Cold War era Hungarian People’s Army Air Force Specialist Badge (3rd Class). This historical military piece features the striking insignia of the Hungarian communist era, showcasing a gold-winged propeller over a light blue background strip, adjacent to a beautifully detailed enamel red and white banner bearing the coat of arms emblem.
The reverse side features a robust, authentic dual-attachment setup consisting of a large brass spring clip designed for a uniform pocket flap or strap, coupled with a smaller stabilizing screw-back bolt assembly at the top. A fantastic, highly displayable piece of Eastern Bloc militaria that serves as a perfect addition for collectors of Warsaw Pact history, Soviet-era aviation, or vintage military badges.
