Up for sale is an authentic, original vintage official matchday football league programme covering the Football League Third Division South fixture between Bournemouth & Boscombe Athletic F.C. (now AFC Bournemouth) and Aldershot F.C., played at Dean Court on Wednesday, 25th August 1954.
This highly collectible post-war publication is printed on a highly distinct light blue cover stock layout. It features a beautiful retro red-ink line illustration of a player executing an acrobatic volley strike next to prominent mid-century advertising blocks—including a headline space dedicated to the local estate agents “Rumsey & Rumsey”.
A perfect addition for any dedicated AFC Bournemouth historian, Aldershot supporter, or collector of vintage 1950s English football league ephemera.
