Item Description- Title: Antique Brass GR King George Cannon Lamp – Royal Cypher Trench Art Military Decor.

Authenticity & Manufacturer: This item is clearly stamped on the underside of the carriage with “MADE IN ENGLAND” and the “RM” maker’s mark. This proves it is a genuine British-made casting and not a modern mass-produced import. The level of detail in the casting, from the spoked wheels to the “GR” Royal Cypher, makes this a high-end collector’s piece.

Product Overview:- Up for sale is a truly unique and heavy antique brass table lamp featuring a detailed scale model of a British field cannon. This piece is a fantastic example of early 20th-century craftsmanship, likely created as “Trench Art” or a high-quality military commemorative piece.

Historical Markings: The standout feature of this lamp is the authentic “GR” (Georgius Rex) Royal Cypher cast into the top of the cannon carriage, surmounted by the Tudor Crown. This marking identifies the piece as dating from the reign of King George V (1910–1936), making it a genuine piece of British military heritage from the WWI era.

Key Features: Material: Solid, heavy cast brass with a beautiful aged patina.

Base: Mounted on a sturdy, wood circular plinth.

Design: A long brass stem rising from a highly detailed miniature cannon with movable-style wheels.

Condition: Excellent vintage/antique condition. The brass shows a wonderful natural age that collectors love. (Please see photos for details).

Electrical: Features a standard brass socket and black power cable. Note: As with all vintage electricals, it is recommended to have the wiring checked by a professional before use.

Perfect For:

Military history collectors, Steampunk enthusiasts, or as a statement piece for a study, office, or library.
