Item History
The Home Counties Brigade was an administrative military formation established in 1948 just after the second world war. It grouped together legendary county regiments from south-east England, including the Queen’s Royal Regiment, the Buffs, and the Royal Sussex Regiment. This white metal design carries forward the classic WW2 style and heritage of the region’s historic local infantry units. Heavy white-metal strikes utilizing a rear long slider are highly sought after by collectors archiving mid-century frontline equipment.
