Overview: A beautiful and scarce silver-grade medal from the renowned Alliance Française, an international organization dedicated to French language and culture. This medal was a high-level award for proficiency or cultural service.
Key Features: Named & Dated: Hand-engraved on the reverse: “P. YARROW. 1933.”
Design: A detailed laurel wreath encircles the central inscription, symbolizing achievement and excellence.
Ribbon: Includes its original light blue ribbon featuring the French Tricolour (Red, White, and Blue) central stripes.
Case: Housed in its original maroon morocco leather presentation case with a plush silk and velvet interior.
Condition:The medal is in excellent vintage condition with a deep, attractive patina. The hallmarks are present at the bottom of the wreath. The presentation box is well-preserved, with its original clasp and hinges fully functional.
