You are purchasing vintage & original programme, rare pre-WWII vintage theatre programme from the historic Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London (operating in conjunction with The Old Vic). This programme details the 1936-37 season production of Ralph Vaughan Williams’ romantic ballad opera, “Hugh the Drover”.
The performances listed on the cover took place on Wednesday, April 21st, 1937 and Saturday, April 24th, 1937. This is a brilliant piece of historical ephemera for collectors of classical music history, British opera, or vintage London theatre memorabilia.
