Item description
You are purchasing vintage & original Official Football Programme. Up for sale is an incredibly rare, museum-grade piece of European football ephemera: the official C.F. Barcelona match programme for their international friendly hosting of Swedish top-tier club IF Elfsborg on 20th March 1949.
This historic fixture holds immense significance for football historians, as Elfsborg famously defeated Barcelona 3-2 on the day, handing the Spanish giants their first home defeat at Les Corts in over two years. The front cover showcases a brilliant gold portrait frame honoring César Rodríguez, who anchored the club through their late-1940s golden era under coach Enrique Fernández.
A magnificent, high-value acquisition for serious FC Barcelona archivists, collectors of Scandinavian football travel history, or vintage pre-1950s international football memorabilia enthusiasts.
