Item description
Up for sale is an original post-war theatre programme from the Glasgow Citizens’ Theatre production of “Love in Albania”, a satirical comedy by renowned Scottish author Eric Linklater. Notably, the introductory text highlights this production as the very first time this play was performed on any stage.
This historic piece is from the performance run at the Royal Princess’s Theatre, Glasgow.

The programme is in good vintage condition for its age. The front cover displays light pencil markings reading “February 1949” and “April”. The pages have natural age-toning and mild edge wear and rusty staple. The binding structure is firm with no major structural damage, missing pages, or heavy staining.
