Up for sale is an authentic vintage theatre programme from the Glasgow Citizens’ Theatre production of “The Prodigious Snob”. This play is a celebrated English adaptation by Miles Malleson of Molière’s classic French comedy, Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme.
Staged at the historic Royal Princess’s Theatre, this piece represents a vibrant era of mid-century Scottish theater under the patronage of the Lord Provost, Magistrates, and Councillors of the City of Glasgow.

The programme is in good vintage condition. Unlike some copies, the cover remains clean with no heavy handwritten year inscriptions. The pages display standard, light age-toning and gentle edge handling wear. The original metal staples are secure but rusty with no structural separation or major tearing.
