Item Overview:
An original 1951 theater programme for the Glasgow Citizens’ Theatre production of “The Other Dear Charmer,” a celebrated Scottish play written by Robert Kemp. The storyline is set in 1788 Edinburgh and focuses on the famous romantic relationship between the national poet Robert Burns and Agnes Maclehose (known by her pen name Clarinda). The production was directed by Peter Potter and James Gibson, with stage designs by John Russell.
