An original, vintage 1954 theatre programme from the historic Alexandra Theatre on Station Street in Birmingham. This beautifully preserved document chronicles the week commencing Monday, 15th March, 1954, production of Edwin Lewis’ hilarious comedy, “Relations are Best Apart,” presented by H. J. Barlow and Stanley Willis-Croft. The comprehensive cast list features an extraordinary lineup starring legendary British film actress Hazel Court, Leslie Henson, and Dermot Walsh, under the direction of Martin Landau. The surrounding layout features exceptional mid-century local Birmingham corporate advertisements, including an illustrated Ford motoring feature for Bristol Street Motors.
