Up for sale is an original vintage theatre programme for The Bristol Old Vic Company’s 1954 Christmas production of “The Two Bouquets”. Staged at the historic Theatre Royal in Bristol, this beautiful Victorian operetta by Eleanor and Herbert Farjeon was directed by John Moody, with scenic and costume designs by the renowned Rosemary Vercoe.
Up for sale is an original vintage theatre programme for The Bristol Old Vic Company’s 1954 Christmas production of “The Two Bouquets”. Staged at the historic Theatre Royal in Bristol, this beautiful Victorian operetta by Eleanor and Herbert Farjeon was directed by John Moody, with scenic and costume designs by the renowned Rosemary Vercoe.
Crucially for collectors, the program’s striking red-and-white illustrated cover art was custom-designed by the iconic mid-century British artist and illustrator Edward Bawden.
