You are purchasing very collectible & Original vintage theatre programme An original, vintage 1954 theatre programme from the historic Opera House on Quay Street in Manchester. This beautifully preserved document chronicles the Christmas season premiere run commencing Wednesday, 22 December 1954, of Leonard Bernstein’s acclaimed musical comedy “Wonderful Town,” presented by Jack Hylton. The historic billing features star performances by Pat Kirkwood, Shani Wallis, and iconic British comedy legend Sid James. The surrounding layout features fantastic mid-century advertisements, including a vibrant orange graphic feature for Hydes Anvil Brand Ales & Stout.

The cream-toned paper displays light, natural age-toning along the borders, but remains entirely clean and free from modern pen markings, text highlights, or water damage.
