Up for sale is a genuine, original official matchday programme from the unique “Floodlit Youths’ International Match” between England and the Rest of the United Kingdom, played under the lights at Wembley Stadium in November 1963.
This historic programme is a fantastic snapshot of early 1960s British football history. It features a striking red cover with a classic illustration of Wembley Stadium. Inside, you will find profiles on the rising youth stars of the era, period advertisements (including a large feature for Double Diamond beer and Charles Buchan’s Football Monthly), and full team lineups.
The team sheets boast young talents who would go on to have massive professional careers, including future Manchester United legend David Sadler, Chelsea’s Ron Harris, and future prominent manager David Pleat.
