Up for sale is a rare, authentic original piece of 1960s British professional wrestling heritage from the Midlands scene. This 4-page official program was sold for “Sixpence” at the legendary Embassy Sportsdrome arena.
The highlight of this program is the top-billed Heavyweight Contest featuring the legendary masked wrestler Count Bartelli. The center pages also include a vintage sign-up advertisement form for the Embassy Bingo Club.
Collector’s Note on Markings:
This program features authentic, period-correct handwritten corrections in ink on the match card. A substitute wrestler, Ken Cadman, has been neatly penned in by a fan or official at the event to replace Jim Mellor, adding real event-night provenance to the piece.

Condition:
- Overall Condition: Very Good vintage condition for a 60+ year old paper program.
- Wear: Visible vertical and horizontal fold lines from being carried in a pocket at the arena. Light handling wear, age-toning around the edges, and small numbers written at the top-right corner of the front cover (“13”).
- Integrity: Completely intact with strong paper structure. No large tears, no missing segments, and no moisture damage.
