Description
Up for sale is a single original 1967 travel postcard from Venice, Italy. The front features a colorized photographic view of the famous Bridge of Sighs with gondolas on the canal. The back contains a handwritten holiday message sent to England, a clear “Favaro Veneto Venezia” postmark, and its original red 20-Lire stamp.
Condition
- Posted / Vintage: The postcard is in good historical condition with a clear front image and fully legible handwriting. The back corners show minor gray paper residue from previous scrapbook storage.
Item History
This postcard was mailed on August 21, 1967, from the Venice region to Buckinghamshire, England. It represents a genuine piece of mid-century social history from the 1960s European travel boom.
