3. Description
Up for sale is a charming vintage 1970s/1980s solid brass scoop featuring a beautifully turned dark wooden handle. Originally designed during the retro farmhouse revival era, this piece is styled after traditional grocer’s mill scoops for flour or grain, and it also doubles beautifully as a decorative fireside coal or ash shovel.
The brass body exhibits a wonderful, authentic aged patina that adds immense character. It can either be left with its current historic finish or polished up to a bright golden shine depending on your preference. The wooden handle is structurally solid and securely fastened. A fantastic addition to any retro farmhouse kitchen display, vintage retail prop collection, or fireside hearth.
Please review all photos closely to inspect the age-related surface wear, as they form part of the physical description. Sent from a smoke-free and pet-free home.
