You are purchasing an very collectable Photgraph. Up for sale is a fantastic piece of mid-century cinema ephemera: an original vintage movie lobby card from the 1957 epic war-romance film “A Farewell to Arms”, adapted from the famous semi-autobiographical novel by Ernest Hemingway.
The scene captures a poignant moment on the Italian front of WWI between the star-crossed lovers: Hollywood icon Rock Hudson in his military uniform and Jennifer Jones dressed in her volunteer Red Cross nurse attire. These authentic “Front of House” cards were used directly by theatres in the late 50s to promote upcoming screenings. A wonderful addition for collectors of vintage cinema history, Ernest Hemingway memorabilia, or classic Hollywood star enthusiasts.
