This listing is for a highly collectible, authentic vintage black-and-white aerial postcard of Peel Park, the historic former home ground of Accrington Stanley F.C. The front captures a detailed birds-eye view of the pitch, grandstands, and the surrounding neighborhood during the mid-20th century. The team name “ACCRINGTON STANLEY F.C.” is cleanly printed in the bottom left corner banner.
The reverse side remains completely unposted and features the official publishing mark of Aerofilms Ltd., London, a famous pioneer in commercial aerial photography. Because Accrington Stanley resigned from the Football League in 1962 and Peel Park was later demolished, postcards of this specific ground are incredibly rare. It is an exceptional find for football ground historians, Accrington Stanley supporters, or collectors of vintage Lancashire sports topography.
