Up for sale is an original white-metal cap badge for the Bermuda Rifles (Bermuda Volunteer Rifle Corps). This pre-1951 design is a classic piece of Atlantic military history.
- Regiment: Bermuda Rifles / Bermuda Volunteer Rifle Corps (BVRC).
- Design: Die-struck white metal featuring a Maltese Cross, laurel wreath, and the Guelphic Crown.
- Era: Pre-1951 (later badges changed to the King’s or Queen’s crown).
- Size approximately 55 mm x 43 mm and Lug to Lug 36 mm. I believe this to be an Original badge, in very good condition but showing genuine signs of age…..Please study pictures carefully to decide.
- History: The BVRC served with distinction in both World Wars before becoming part of the Bermuda Regiment.
