Up for sale is a genuine, original 1977 vintage football programme from one of the most famous and culturally significant matches in British football history—the 1977 Home International Championship clash between England and Scotland at Wembley Stadium.
This historic match ended in a 2–1 victory for Ally MacLeod’s Scotland team, featuring goals from Gordon McQueen and Kenny Dalglish, with Mick Channon netting a late penalty for the hosts. The game is legendary for the massive post-match pitch invasion by the Tartan Army, who famously snapped the Wembley crossbars and tore up pieces of the turf.
