Originally designed to carry the standard-issue SA80 bayonet scabbard on a combat belt, this versatile frog also serves perfectly as a tactical utility sheath for bushcraft knives, survival tools, or small machetes. It features built-in belt loops and durable steel press-stud fasteners to lock your gear securely into place.
History & Context:
Introduced in the late 1980s and widely fielded throughout the 1990s and 2000s, the PLCE system replaced older canvas webbing with durable, infrared-resistant (IRR) Cordura nylon. The Woodland DPM pattern was the signature camouflage of the British Armed Forces during conflicts in the Gulf, Balkans, and early operations in Afghanistan, making this a true piece of modern British military history.
