Up for sale is an authentic, matching pair of vintage Danish military insignia collar badges (commonly referred to by collectors as “Collar Dogs”) from the historic Kongens Jyske Fodregiment (The King’s Jutland Infantry Regiment).
Up for sale is an authentic, matching pair of vintage Danish military insignia collar badges (commonly referred to by collectors as “Collar Dogs”) from the historic Kongens Jyske Fodregiment (The King’s Jutland Infantry Regiment).
This listing contains all original components disassembled into 6 individual pieces:
- 2 Brass Badge Facings: Highly detailed crown designs stampead with the “KONGENS” banner ribbons. The reverse sides feature integrated dual mounting loops completely intact.
- 2 Red Cloth Backings: Traditional die-cut crimson felt pads designed with mounting slots.
- 2 Slider Attachment Pins: Original long, heavy-gauge brass securing pins used to lock the badges flush against the uniform collar.
Condition: Good vintage condition. The reverse side of the brass exhibits natural, unpolished age oxidation and minor patina, providing great character for a military collection. The red felt backing shows minimal wear and maintains strong structural shape.
