Formed in 1908 following national military reforms, the Officer Training Corps (OTC) Junior Division was established in top British public schools like Dulwich College in London. Its purpose was to train young students for commissions as officers in the British Army. These specialized three-tiered shoulder titles feature a stylized curved block font spelling out “DULWICH”, “OTC”, and “COLLEGE”. They were issued in white metal (nickel-silver alloy) to match the white-metal buttons and insignia design parameters used by specific school cadet battalions during the First World War and the interwar years up until around 1940.
