Authentic British Corps of Commissionaires Cap Badge.
Construction: High-quality die-struck brass with a crisp negative image on the reverse, indicating an original period striking.
Fastener: Features the less common horizontal pin and loop fastener, typical of earlier patterns or specific duty wear.
Condition: Excellent vintage patina with natural aging. No repairs or structural damage.
History: The Corps of Commissionaires is the world’s oldest security company, founded in 1859 for veterans of the Crimean War.
