Item History
This clipping documents the historic arrival of Swedish forward Henrik Larsson at Celtic Park in July 1997. Signed by Wim Jansen from Feyenoord for a bargain fee, Larsson went on to become one of the greatest players in the club’s history, affectionately known by fans as the “King of Kings.” This specific promotional shot captures his very first days in Glasgow, a season that famously ended with Celtic breaking Rangers’ run and winning the league title.
