DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a unique, authentic piece of boxing history perfect for serious collectors. This vintage memorabilia lot features a rare piece of ephemera straight from Joe Frazier’s legendary training camp alongside a vintage 1970s educational boxing card.
What is Included in This 4-Piece Lot:
- Authentic Frazier’s Golden Gloves Business Card: An original business card from Joe Frazier’s Gym located at 2917 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA. The card lists Vice President Ralph Easley and features the official gym phone and fax numbers. This is an incredible, scarce piece of physical history from the very gym where Frazier trained and mentored contenders.
- 1978 Edito-Service “The World Heavyweight Title” Card: A vintage collector’s card printed in Geneva (© 1978, Edito-Service S.A.). The reverse features a highly detailed, comprehensive historical text titled “From John L. Sullivan to Muhammad Ali,” charting the history of the world heavyweight championship up to Ali’s era.
- Bonus Mini-Poster Print: A high-quality print featuring the iconic face-to-face promotional photograph of Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier staring each other down.
- Bonus In-Ring Action Print: A smaller color photograph print capturing both legendary heavyweights trading blows inside the squared circle during live action.

HISTORY
Located at 2917 N. Broad Street in Philadelphia, Joe Frazier’s Gym was the heart and soul of “Smokin'” Joe’s career. It served as his personal training headquarters and a community beacon where he trained his son, Marvis Frazier, and countless Golden Gloves contenders. Paired with the 1978 Edito-Service card—printed right around the time of the historic Ali vs. Leon Spinks rematches—this lot captures the true, gritty essence of the golden era of heavyweight boxing.
