The Cast (with great TV/Film credits):
- Richard Bates (Tony): Noted in his bio for Jesus Christ Superstar.
- Kenneth Oxtoby (William): A veteran actor from The Rocky Horror Show, Public Eye, and All Creatures Great and Small.
- David Streames (Robert): Noted for appearing in the film Chariots of Fire.
- Lennox Greaves (Greg): Noted for Our Day Out.
- Kenneth Lodge (Jurgen): Noted for One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest.
Production Significance:
- Award Winner: This play won the Inaugural Samuel Beckett Award.
- This was the play’s first regional production following its hit run at the Bush Theatre in London (1982).
- Playwright: Early work by the acclaimed Kevin Elyot (My Night with Reg).
- Venue: Dixon Studio Theatre, Palace Theatre Centre, Westcliff-on-Sea.
