This photograph comes directly from a retired UK regional newspaper archive and sports media collection. It was originally distributed directly by Bob Thomas’s agency to press rooms for media publication and has spent decades stored safely flat inside a heavy archival filing cabinet, protecting it completely from light fade or ambient dampness.
