You are purchasing collectable Military Badge. Authentic British Army Irish Guards Cap Badge – Star of St. Patrick. This is an original “Other Ranks” cap badge for the Irish Guards. This badge features the distinctive eight-pointed star design of the Order of St. Patrick.
Regiment: Irish Guards (Foot Guards).
- Design: Die-struck gilding metal (brass) featuring the shamrock centre and the motto “QUIS SEPARABIT MDCCLXXXIII”.
- Significance: The Irish Guards were formed in 1900 by order of Queen Victoria to commemorate Irish soldiers who fought in the Boer War.
- Condition: The bade remains in very Good vintage condition with sharp detail. Original attachment lugs are present on the reverse.
- Authentication: Genuine military issue, likely from the WWII era or post-war period.
