Description WW1 2nd Battalion Monmouthshire Regiment Cap Badge – Rare Battalion Scroll.
Original 2nd Bn Monmouthshire Regiment cap badge from the World War I era. This is a scarce battalion-specific variant featuring the Welsh Dragon over a detailed unit scroll.
Please Note Condition: This badge is priced competitively for a quick sale due to two specific condition points:
Face Defect: There is a notable casting flaw/metal defect on the front near the dragon’s head/mouth area (please see the highlighted photo).
Reverse Repair: A replacement vertical slider has been professionally re-soldered to the back using white solder to ensure it is functional for display.

Material: Cast bronze/brass with a dark aged patina.
