This is the classic “Other Ranks” issue featuring the iconic star, the central castle of Guildford, and the King’s (Tudor) Crown.
Condition & Details:Fixing: Features the original long brass slider on the reverse, which is firm and intact.Design: Excellent detail remains on the castle masonry and the “East Surrey” scroll.Patina: The badge has a beautiful, natural aged patina that only comes with time—it has not been over-polished.
Authenticity: Guaranteed original military issue, not a modern restrike. This is a fantastic addition for any collector of Great War militaria or those specifically researching the East Surrey Regiment.
