Item Description: For sale is an authentic World War I era Army Remount Service cap badge. This is the desirable solid brass (gilding metal) variant, often associated with the 1916 economy period of the Great War.
Design: Features the George V (GvR) Royal Cypher surmounted by a King’s Crown, within an oval title strap.
Construction: Genuine die-stamped solid brass with a beautiful, dark natural patina.
Fixing: Complete with its original, sturdy brass slider on the reverse.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with crisp detailing. Uncleaned to preserve the aged character.
A guaranteed original piece of British military history, perfect for cap badge collectors or Great War enthusiasts.
