Original WW1 Northumberland Hussars Yeomanry Brooch Badge Up for sale is a genuine piece of British military heritage: a Northumberland Hussars (Yeomanry) badge, expertly converted into a wearable brooch or ‘sweetheart’ badge.
Historical Significance:The Northumberland Hussars was a storied Yeomanry regiment of the British Army. This badge design features the Keep of Newcastle (often identified as Alnwick Castle) at the center, surrounded by a crowned circlet. The lower scroll commemorates their service and battle honor from the South Africa 1900-02 (Boer War) campaign.
