Regiment: Royal Army Ordnance Corps (RAOC)Material: All Brass / Gilding Metal.

Fixing Type: Original Rear Long Slider.

Era: World War 1 Era (WWI / WW1 Issue).

Design: Features the Garter circlet reading HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE, a central ordnance shield with three cannons, and a lower scroll reading ROYAL ARMY ORDNANCE CORPS, all surmounted by the King’s Crown.

Condition:Excellent authentic vintage condition with a solid all-brass construction and a beautifully aged natural light golden patina. The casting details on the ordnance shield and the upper crown are crisp and sharp. The rear brass slider is completely straight, firm, and securely attached. Regimental History: The Royal Army Ordnance Corps (RAOC) was a vital corps of the British Army responsible for supply, storage, and weaponry distribution. While the unit originally operated as the Army Ordnance Corps (AOC), their tireless logistics efforts during World War 1 earned them the Royal prefix from King George V in late 1918. This specific badge design with the full Royal Army Ordnance Corps scroll was worn with great pride during the final months of the Great War and the immediate post-war occupation period.
