Original Royal Irish Fusiliers (Princess Victoria’s) 2-Piece Cap BadgeThis is a genuine, service-worn bi-metal cap badge set for the Royal Irish Fusiliers. This “dual construction” set is the classic design worn by the regiment through both World Wars.
Features:Regiment: Royal Irish Fusiliers (Princess Victoria’s).
Design: A brass flaming grenade with a white metal Irish Harp and Prince of Wales’s feathers. Comes with the separate white metal coronet.
Fastening: The grenade has a long, sturdy brass slider; the coronet has its two original copper lugs.
Era: WW1 / WW2 period.Condition: Excellent vintage condition with an attractive, uncleaned patina. Details remain crisp and all fastenings are solid and original.
