Item Details: Up for sale is a genuine British Army Somerset Light Infantry cap badge. This piece is a classic wartime economy issue struck entirely from a single brass alloy sheet. The design highlights a prominent top scroll bearing the South Africa 1900-1902 battle honour.

The centerpiece shows the interlocking initials PA for Prince Albert nestled inside a large traditional light infantry strung bugle horn

Condition: Excellent antique military condition. The solid brass construction shows a wonderful warm natural aged gold coloration

The front details remain crisp with minimal rubbing from historic polishing sessions. The reverse features its original long vertical slider attachment completely intact and sturdy
