An original British military Glengarry cap badge for The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles), dating to the First World War era. This large-format badge prominently features the iconic five-pointed Douglas star (mullet) beautifully positioned over a long, elegant title banner reading “THE CAMERONIANS”. This specific design features a dual-lug configuration on the reverse side with a 55mm spacing layout. The striking white metal composition remains crisp with deep definitions along the star facets and individual lettering.

Item History
The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) were a renowned lowlands regiment that raised 27 battalions during the First World War, serving on the Western Front, Gallipoli, and Salonika. This large 60x82mm pattern badge was specifically worn on the traditional dark blue Scottish Glengarry hat. Its generous size and distinct design make it one of the most striking and recognisable pieces of Scottish militaria from the Great War.
