Item Description- Genuine WWI Huntingdonshire Cyclist Battalion Officer’s Cap Badge
Up for sale is a rare, unmarked silver (white metal) variant of the Huntingdonshire Cyclist Battalion cap badge. This specialized unit was part of the British Territorial Force, famously known for their coastal defense duties during the Great War.
Design: Features the “Rising Stag” of Huntingdonshire above a decorative unit scroll.
Material: Unmarked silver/white metal finish, typically worn by Officers or for Mess Dress.
Fitting: Includes the original vertical slider fitting on the reverse, suitable for a service dress cap.
Reference: This design is cataloged as K&K 1870.
Condition: Good vintage condition with an authentic aged patina. The reverse shows some natural oxidation and pitting consistent with age (see photos for detail).
