A genuine World War I period cap badge for the South Lancashire Regiment (Prince of Wales’s Volunteers). This is the bronze/darkened version often used for field service or as a war-time economy issue.
Key Details:
Regiment: South Lancashire (PoW Volunteers).
Design: Prince of Wales feathers above the “Egypt” Sphinx and regimental scrolls.
Fixing: Original long vertical slider on the reverse, firm and intact.
Condition: Good vintage condition with a deep, uncleaned patina and sharp detail.
