Description: This is an authentic World War II-era U.S. Army Officer’s Service Cap Badge, featuring the Great Seal of the United States. This insignia was standard headgear for Army and Army Air Forces officers throughout the 1940s.
Condition : Please note that the lower tail feathers of the eagle are missing (broken off).
Patina: The badge has a heavy, attractive aged patina and some oxidation (verdigris) on the reverse, showing its genuine age.
Mounting: The central screw-back post is still attached and functional, though it does not include the screw nut.
