This listing shows the reverse side of an original early 20th-century slouch hat cap badge worn by the 1st Bucks Rifle Volunteer Corps. The back clearly shows the deep intaglio reverse strike from the die-stamping process. It also highlights the heavy-duty long slider fastener, which was specifically engineered to hold the badge firmly against the thick, turned-up brim of a felt slouch hat.
