Item History
The Royal Logistic Corps (RLC) was formed on April 1, 1993, by uniting five historic branches of the British Army’s supply lines, including the Royal Corps of Transport and the Royal Army Ordnance Corps. This design gracefully merges those traditions—the crossed axes represent the Pioneers, while the central shield mirrors the Ordnance corps. This specific pair was contracted to the historic workshop of Fattorini & Sons during the Queen Elizabeth II era (1993–2022) as indicated by the St. Edward’s Crown, making it an excellent historical set representing the corps’ service through modern global operations.
