Description : Original British Army “The Rifles” Officers Cap Badge – Queen’s Crown (QC)For sale is a genuine, high-quality silver-plated cap badge for an Officer of The Rifles. This is the regulation pattern featuring the iconic strung bugle horn surmounted by the St. Edward’s (Queen’s) Crown.
Officer Grade: This is a superior silver-plated/burnished version, distinct from the standard anodized “Other Ranks” badges.
Fastening: Features the correct double lugs (shanks) on the reverse.Complete Set: Comes with the original bronze-finish cotter pin for immediate attachment to a beret or service cap.
Era: Queen Elizabeth II (QC). With the recent change to the King’s Crown, these QC versions are becoming more collectible.
Condition Report:The badge is in excellent used condition. As shown in the photos, there is a lovely service-worn character with some minor “pitting” and natural wear to the silver plating on the reverse side, confirming its authenticity. The front remains crisp with sharp detail on the crown and tassels.
