This is an official souvenir theatre programme for the hilarious political farce The Duck House, from its limited production run stop at the historic Theatre Royal Nottingham during its 2013 UK tour before transferring to London’s West End. Written by renowned comedy writers Dan Patterson (Whose Line Is It Anyway?) and Colin Swash, the play stars popular comedian Ben Miller (The Armstrong and Miller Show, Death in Paradise) as a panicked Member of Parliament caught in the crosshairs of the real-world 2009 UK parliamentary expenses scandal. The programme features vibrant cover art, full cast and crew biographies, behind-the-scenes insights, and beautifully preserved promotional graphics. - Background: The Duck House was a highly anticipated comedic take on a modern piece of British political history. After its highly successful five-week regional tour across key historic UK theatres (including this stop in Nottingham), the production triumphantly transferred to the West End’s Vaudeville Theatre where it entertained crowds through March 2014.
