& original postcard. Vintage Viktor Staal Real Photo Cinema Postcard – Film-Foto-Verlag c. 1941-1944
Up for sale is a completely original, highly collectible vintage European cinema postcard featuring the popular Austrian film actor Viktor Staal (1909–1982). Known for his classic clean-cut romantic and heroic roles, Staal was a prominent contract leading man for Germany’s famous Ufa film studios throughout the 1930s and 1940s.
This real photo postcard was published in Berlin by Film-Foto-Verlag during World War II (dating between 1941 and 1944), carrying the official series number A 3839/1. The striking monochrome portrait was captured by the acclaimed studio photographer Baumann.
An exceptional addition for collectors of Third Reich-era cinema memorabilia, European film star postcards, and vintage photographic ephemera.
