You are purchasing very collectable & Original Programme. An authentic, original vintage theatre performance programme from the historic Grand Opera House, Harrogate (now the Harrogate Theatre), dating precisely to Thursday, January 30th, 1930. The central interior panel features a performance of “The Mask and the Face”, a brilliant three-act satirical comedy adapted by C. B. Fernald (based on Luigi Chiarelli’s famous Italian play La Maschera e il volto). The layout is beautifully surrounded by vintage Yorkshire trade advertisements, including Farrah’s Harrogate Toffee, Rowntree’s Chocolates, and local Harrogate merchants. A superb piece of social history and 1930s theatrical ephemera
